We seek:

In the [[Faculty III of the University of Siegen]], [[Autonomous Interactive Systems group]], we are looking for a [[research assistant]]  as of the [[01.06.2025]]  at the following conditions:

 

  • [[100%]]  [[39.83 hours per week]]
  • Pay grade [[13 ]]  [[TV-L]]
  • [[contract type]]  [[limited until 31.03.2028]]

Your tasks:

  • Collaboration in an interdisciplinary team as part of the project
  • Conducting a comprehensive literature review on the topic of the project
  • Conducting interviews and observational studies
  • Designing interaction concepts for behavior change towards sustainable mobility
  • Development of prototypes for the proposed interaction concepts
  • Conducting lab and field studies to evaluate the interaction concepts
  • Reporting on the research results in the form of scientific publications 

 

This is a position for further scientific qualification (doctorate). Opportunities for this will be provided as part of the duties.

Your profile:

  • Very good Master’s degree in computer science, human-computer-interaction, or related degree

  • Very good knowledge in the field of human-computer interaction

  • Very good knowledge of scientific methodology (qualitative, quantitative)

  • Good prototyping experience

  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, and good knowledge or willingness to learn German

  • Previous experience with scientific writing is desirable, e.g., in the form of publications

  • Willingness to perform, ability to work in a team, communicative and organizational skills
