In the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology, Physik / Experimentelle Teilchenphysik, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.01.2027 at the following conditions:
- working time: 26,69 h (67%)
- Pay grade 13 TV-L
- limited until 31.12.2028
The position is initially limited to two years; continued employment is intended.
Your tasks:

Your research actvity in the context of the Color meets Flavor Cluster of Excellence will focus on the simulation, analysis and preparation of measurments at the Lohengrin experiment, a light dark matter search experiment.

Modelling of hadronic final states in electron nucleon scattering

Development of the Lohengrin Detector Layout for hadronic final states

Preparation of the first Lohengrin data taking period at the ELSA accelerator
Your profile:
- University degree in physics
- Experience in the simulation, reconstruction or analysis of data in high energy physics
- Programming skills (C++, Python)
- Ability to work and communicate in a team
- Willingness for limited travel
- Very good English language skills
- German language skills are desirable
