We seek:
In the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology, Physik, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.03.2026 at the following conditions:
- 75% = 29,87 hours
- Pay grade 13 TV-L
- limited 28.02.2029
Your tasks:
- Preparation and characterization of 2D materials using methods of surface science, especially scanning tunneling microscopy (STM)
- Investigation of the electronic properties of ultrathin semiconductors, e. g. molybdenum disulfide
- Teaching duties of 3 SWS beginning January 2028
- Assistance in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs of the Department of Physics
Your profile:
- Outstanding Master's or equivalent degree in Physics or a related field
- Reliable knowledge of solid state physics
- Good English skills
- Desirable are
- Experience in running UHV setups
- Knowledge of 2D materials
- Experience with scanning probe methods, especially STM
