In the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology, Mathematik, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.06.2025 at the following conditions:

limited till 31.05.2028
Your tasks:
- Preparation and implementation of exercises, practical computer courses and seminars in the field of numerics in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in mathematics
- Supervision of students and assistance with administrative tasks
- Supporting the Chair of Numerical Mathematics in ongoing research projects as well as own research work under supervision
- Teaching commitment: 2 semester hours per semester
Your profile:
- Scientific university degree (Master of Science or equivalent) in mathematics
- Good knowledge of numerical mathematics
- Experience in numerical discretization of partial differential equations, numerical linear algebra or numerical optimization is an advantage
- Programming skills (C/C++, Python, Matlab or Julia) are desirable
