We seek:

In the Faculty III: School of Economic Disciplines, Professur für BWL, Rechnungslegung und Corporate Governance, we are looking for a researcher  as of the 01.10.2024  at the following conditions:

  • 50% = 19,92 hours  
  • Pay grade 13  TV-L
  • limited  bis zum 30.09.2027

Your tasks:

  • Collaboration in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes of the School of Economic Disciplines, in particular in the Master's degree programme in Accounting, Auditing & Taxation
  • Support for research projects in the area of sustainability and sustainable accounting, finance & governance
  • Publication of research results in relevant international journals
  • Supervision of students and assistance with administrative tasks
  • Conception, and organization of conferences, and workshops
  • Carrying out your own research project (Promotion) according to the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz
  • Teaching commitment: 2 semester hours per week

Your profile:

  • Ideally, for this position you have finished your Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Management or related a field with excellent grades;
  • have a strong interest in sustainability accounting, finance and governance issues;
  • like to cooperate with others and have the willingness to engage in interdisciplinary cooperation;
  • have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
  • are motivated to conduct high-quality research and teaching;
  • have very good verbal, written and visual communication skills with an excellent command of English (knowledge of German is desirable);
  • are excellent at quantitative and qualitative reasoning and have a strong command of Stata and/or R.
