We seek:

In the Faculty III: School of Economic Disciplines, Chair of Management, Accounting and Corporate Governance, we are looking for a researcher  as of the 01.04.2026  at the following conditions:

 

  • 50% = 19,92 hours  
  • Pay grade 13  TV-L
  • limited  until 31.03.2029

Your tasks:

  • Participation in interdisciplinary projects in research, teaching and transfer with a particular focus on the areas of sustainability and sustainable accounting, finance and corporate governance
  • Conducting quantitative-empirical and qualitative analyses
  • Publication of research results in international journals
  • Support in the design, and the organization of specialised workshops or conferences
  • Supervision of students and assistance with administrative tasks
  • Support in teaching (2 semester hours per week)
  • Support in establishing an interdisciplinary research centre in the field of accounting for society

Your profile:

  • Ideally, a Master's degree in accounting, finance or management or related a field with excellent grades
  • Strong interest in sustainability accounting, management control or governance issues
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Basic knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Ideally experience with statistical software (R, STATA, or MAXQDA)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Motivation to conduct high-quality research and teaching
  • Excellent communication skills with a very good command of English as well as at least basic knowledge of German
