We seek:
In the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology, Department of Physics, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.05.2025 at the following conditions:
- working time: 67%
- Pay grade 13 TV-L
- limited until 30.04.2028
Your tasks:
- To perform analyses in the field of top quark physics with the data of the ATLAS experiment
- Development of software for the ATLAS muon trigger
- Participation in data taking at CERN
- Supervision of undergraduate students
Your profile:
- Very good final degree (Master of Science or diploma in physics) in the field of experimental particle physics
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in particle physics analyses
- Knowledge of C++ and ROOT is an advantage
